Abstract Translation Fidelity — Proof of Concept
Technical prototype portfolio — demonstration environment
Use the bundled synthetic scientific abstract below to see the round-trip translation check run. Do not submit personal, confidential or client-owned information. Contact Chrisian to discuss a controlled evaluation. Claude translates the abstract into a real target language, then translates that output back into English — without ever seeing the original — so the round trip is a genuine test, not an echo. Every number in the original is checked against the back-translation; a real, deterministic length-ratio bound and a lexical-overlap transparency signal round out the check, in the spirit of Citation Normalization's own round-trip verification.

Background: Hypertension remains a leading modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease, yet adherence to antihypertensive therapy remains suboptimal in many outpatient populations. Methods: We conducted a randomized controlled trial enrolling 842 adults with stage 2 hypertension across 14 clinics between 2021 and 2023. Participants were assigned to a pharmacist-led medication management program or usual care. The primary outcome was systolic blood pressure change at 12 months. Results: Mean systolic blood pressure decreased by 14.6 mmHg in the intervention group compared with 6.2 mmHg in the usual-care group (between-group difference, 8.4 mmHg; 95% CI, 6.1 to 10.7; p<0.001). Medication adherence, measured by pharmacy refill data, was 78.3 percent in the intervention group versus 54.1 percent in usual care. Serious adverse events occurred in 3.1 percent of participants, with no significant difference between groups. Conclusions: A pharmacist-led medication management program significantly improved blood pressure control and adherence among patients with stage 2 hypertension over a 12-month period, with no increase in serious adverse events.
