Technical prototype portfolio — demonstration environment
This public demo runs only the bundled synthetic sample chapter below — click Render narration to see it work. Each paragraph is rendered to real audio via a local TTS engine (no API call); a real pacing check compares every section's actual measured seconds-per-word against the job's own median to catch synthesis failures, and a reviewer listens to each section before export. Title
The Lighthouse Keeper — Chapter One
Synthetic sample manuscript
Prologue.
The storm arrived three days early, and nobody on the mainland thought to warn old Mara before the ferry stopped running. She had kept the lighthouse for eleven years, and in all that time the sea had never once asked her permission before changing its mind.
By the second night, the wind had torn the weather vane clean off its post, and Mara sat by the lamp room window counting the seconds between each flash of lightning and the thunder that followed, the way her father had taught her when she was a girl who still believed the lighthouse was haunted.
She was not afraid of the storm. She had stopped being afraid of storms a long time ago. What worried her now was the small boat she had seen just before dusk, pitching toward the rocks with no running lights at all.
