Citation Normalization — Proof of Concept
Technical prototype portfolio — demonstration environment
Use the bundled synthetic text below — six legal citations in inconsistent formats — to see a real parser (matched against a known set of Bluebook reporter abbreviations) extract each citation's components and reformat it to a consistent style. Every normalization is verified by re-parsing it and confirming every component — volume, reporter, page, pincite, court, year — survived unchanged. Contact Chrisian to discuss a controlled evaluation.

The court relied on Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954) to reach its holding. See Marbury vs. Madison, 5 US 137 (1803) (establishing judicial review). The defendant cited Miranda v Arizona, 384 U. S. 436, 444 (1966) extensively. This is consistent with Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), overturned in 2022. The Second Circuit's reasoning in Smith v. Jones, 123 F.3d 456 (2d Cir. 1999) remains influential. Compare Doe v. Roe, 55 F2d 10, 15 (1999) with the dissent in that case.
